On the road again...

...just can't wait to get on the road again. (Be glad you can't hear me singing this right now. I SO can't carry a tune!)

I'm headed off again tomorrow and will be in and out of the office for the next few weeks. I'll have my cell and my crackberry, erm, blackberry, but response time may be a bit slower than the norm! Thanks for your patience during this time.

July 31-Aug 7: Maui
Aug 9: Dannielle & Tim's wedding back here in Orlando
Aug 14-17: San Francisco & Big Sur for Kelly & Jon's wedding

Check back for plenty of fun travel photos and sneak peeks from both fabulous weddings!

Jessica + Jay got married!

I recently had the pleasure of second shooting Jessica & Jay's wedding for Abby Liga of Liga Photography. Abby's a fantastic photographer and an all-around fun person to hang out and shoot with! I had such a blast working with her.

The ceremony was at the lovely First United Methodist Church in Oviedo. It's a small but beautiful church!

Jessica and her dad just before the ceremony

Getting ready to walk down the aisle!

The weather held out just long enough to give us time for portraits!

Love Jessica's hot pink shoes!

Probably my favorite shot of the day!

The whole gang!

The reception was at the gorgeous Ballroom at Church Street. I'd never shot there before and it's absolutely stunning!

Check out that fabulous cake!

The bouquet catch is always a blast. Jessica made it more fun by having a break-apart toss bouquet! So several girls got to catch a piece!

A lifetime of love and happiness to you both!

Bumming

I took a few minutes today to check up on Katura and discovered that she'll be watching the Olympics from home due to injury. Sad news for sure, but I know that she'll go on to other great things. Thinking of you sweetie! {hugs}

Wipeout

I had a ton of fun this past Friday when a bunch of friends and I went out to Cocoa Beach for some surfing and some windsurfing on Banana River. Didn't take a ton of pics, but this is one of my faves from the day!

In Print: Summer 2008 Bermudian Magazine

I was super excited to receive a copy of the Summer '08 issue of The Bermudian Magazine in the mail this week. The image from my shoot with Bermuda Olympic Diver Katura Horton-Perinchief appeared in their feature about athletes from the island hoping to compete in the 2008 Olympics in China.

Katura is an absolute sweetheart and was so much fun to photograph. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for her that she makes it to the games! Wish her luck, won't you?

When insomnia strikes, I read my favorite blogs. Got this meme from my friend Christine's blog and thought I'd entertain {bore?} you all with my answers. I can only claim sleep deprivation for my nonsensical ramblings.

What is in the back of your car?
A soda stain. When I lived in NJ I had a 12-pack in my backseat which froze and exploded during a particularly bad snowstorm.

What color is your toothbrush? Purple

Name one person who made you smile today. My husband, who always makes me smile.

What were you doing at 8:00 a.m.? Reading email and listening to voice mail.

What were you doing 45 minutes ago? Sleeping.

What is your favorite candy? Snickers. No, Reese's. No, York Peppermint Patties. Sigh. All of the above.

What is the best ice cream flavor?
Mint Chocolate Chip

An insanely huge celebratory dinner at Colorado Fondue.

Have you bought any new clothes this week?
Nope.

When was the last time you ran?
On the treadmill Thursday.

What was the last sporting event you watched?
Um....ooh, there was baseball on tv last night when I was channel surfing. Does that count? LOL

Do you have a tan? I live in Florida therefore I sport a flip flop tan pretty much year round.

Do you take vitamins daily? If I remember.

Do you go to church? I shoot weddings - of course I do!

Do you like Chinese food more than pizza?
Oooh, tough call, but no.

Do you drink your soda with a straw? No.

Are you someone’s best friend? Yup. Hi Jen!

What are you doing tomorrow?
Tackling some of my three page to do list!

Look to your left. What do you see? A dry erase board with all sorts of notes and doodles.

What color is your watch? Is shiny a color? LOL Silver.

What do you think of when you think of Australia? Remarkable Rocks. But only because a colleague recently went to Kangaroo Island, Australia and came back with these cool photos of Remarkable Rocks. Prior to that, probably would have been 'roos.

Do you use chap stick? All. The. Time. Burts Bees baby!

Do you have a dog?
Nope.

Last person you talked to on the phone? One of my clients to arrange a portrait session for her triplets!

Have you met anyone famous? Keith Hernandez, former Mets first baseman.
