Sawatdee Kaa from Thailand!

which means Hello from Thailand! Today's my last day here and late tonight I begin the long (and I do mean long!) journey home. This trip has been absolutely amazing and while I can't wait to get home to my family, I wish I had more time to explore this incredible country!

I have a ton of photos to share with you and I'll probably break them into 3 parts for each of the different regions I visited: Bangkok, Koh Samui, and Chiang Rai.

I'll be back in the office (and hopefully coherent) on May 7, so look for more then, but in the meantime, I'll leave you with this little sneak peek.

On the road: Thailand

That's a lot of flying time! I'll be out of the office from April 25-May 6 while traveling in Thailand (by way of New York City). I will most likely not have email or voice mail access during that time, so all messages will be returned when I get back. Thanks for your patience!

Olympic dreams

Yesterday was an unusual and fun day for me! I had the pleasure of photographing the lovely Katura Perinchief for the Bermudian Magazine. Katura, who hails from Bermuda, is a 3m springboard diver training here in Orlando for the upcoming summer Olympics. We shot at the YMCA on International Drive where she trains and unfortunately I can't show you images just yet, but as soon as I get the ok from the magazine to post them, I will.

In other news, I've been busy wrapping up all sorts of loose ends and getting ready to head off to NY and then Thailand. If you're waiting on proofs or have ordered prints, you'll have those before I go on Friday.

Now if only I can get rid of this cold before I go! Honestly, who gets sick before they travel? Aren't you supposed to get sick after?

Christy & Steve

I don't know that I've ever seen it rain quite so hard. But Christy, Steve, and their friends and family took it all in stride and their outdoor wedding turned out fantastic! I shot their wedding yesterday with my good friend Suzie Seagraves.

I thought it was a beautiful ceremony. The kids, well, they had other ideas apparently!

Yeah, so I'm a wuss

Went to the doctor today to get my Typhoid vaccine for the Thailand trip. Boy did that freaking hurt! Hours later my arm is still sore. Like I said, I'm a wuss. LOL

Random Tuesday

Just dropping off the odd bits of randomness kicking around in my head...

What is the deal with 40-something degree weather in Florida? In March?

I'm super excited because I just found out that I'll be traveling to Thailand at the end of April! Not looking forward to the 17 hour flight, but it's going to be SO worth it! I'll be spending time in Bangkok, Chiang Rai, and on the island of Koh Samui.

Add that to an already full schedule and a week in Hawaii in May and that now means my next available portrait session is in June! Priority will be given to engagement sessions of couples getting married soon, so contact me now to schedule your shoot!

Previously on...HUH? What do you mean there's no LOST this week? %!$#@ writer's strike!

Had a blast yesterday at the Rockstar Roadtrip Workshop run by Corey McNabb and Amber Holritz. Corey's a fantastic wedding photographer and Amber is an amazing lifestyle baby photographer. Both gave us awesome tips and lots to think about! That's one of the cool things about photographey - there's always new things you and learn and people in this industry are so generous with sharing that knowledge!

Borrowed these pics off my dear friend Suzie Seagraves' blog.
