Christina & Matt: Trash the Dress

I had the pleasure of doing a Trash the Dress session with Christina and Matt, who've been married for 6 months. They were both such good sports about getting wet and sandy and we had a blast shooting! Aren't they a gorgeous couple?

Jessica & John had a beautiful ceremony at the Sea Turtle Inn in Jacksonville and they obviously put a lot of thought into the details of their special day. I had a blast shooting their wedding with Jaime Smith of JS Photography. Best wishes for a long and happy life you two!

Michelle & Bill

I had the pleasure of photographing Michelle and Bill's wedding in Lakeland, Florida. They're a really sweet couple and Bill in particular has a wicked sense of humor. I don't think I've ever laughed so hard during a wedding in my life! Here's a little sneak peek:









The catering was provided by Uncle Kenny's BBQ & Catering and let me tell you, that was the best darn BBQ I've ever had!

Nuts and trees and me

I went for my allergy testing today and it would appear that I'm allergic to just about every tree in the state of Florida. Including Pecan Trees, which seems completely random to me, but what do I know? I'm supposed to avoid eating pecans, which I've never been particularly fond of, so it's not a big deal.

The allergist is also worried about me developing asthma since I've been prone to bronchitus in the past year. He put me on a variety of medications and I go back for additional testing during the first week of June but most likely I'll be starting allergy shots shortly after that visit. I'm pretty bummed about having to do shots again, but if that's what it takes to make me feel better, then that's what I have to do.

Got back into town late last night after a whirlwind week of travel. I'm just about caught up on emails and calls, but laundry will have to wait. I've decided that I will never again cruise without a balcony; it's just so soothing to sit out there and watch the sea go by.
