SCPA of Orlando's Paws in the Park fundraising walk at Lake Eola

The day started out dreary and gray, but the sun quickly broke through and the pups (and humans) were all smiles at the SPCA's Paws in the Park walk Saturday at Lake Eola. There were tons of great vendors, costume contests, pet trick contests and dogs of all shapes and sizes (I wanted to take each and every one of them home with me)! Here are a few of my favorites from the day!

Valentine's Day is for the dogs at Orlando's Paws in the Park dog walk!

The hubby and I spent Valentine's Day at the SPCA's Paws in the Park dog walk down at Lake Eola. A little unconventional to be sure, but while I played roving photographer, he manned my booth. Now if that's not love, I don't know what is! Happy Valentine's Day, honey!

Check back Monday for more cute pups (and cats, clowns, and pet RATS!) from the event.

So cute, it should be illegal

I'm in the process of editing images from last night's holiday parade in Sanford and this little cutie just made my heart melt!

I was there taking shots for the folks at Seminole County Animal Services & Paw Partners, who had a float in the parade.

More images - with plenty of other adorable pups! - from the event coming soon!

Guess who I saw today?

Yep, Santa! He took a few hours out of his super busy schedule to swing by Embarq's first annual Canine Cancer Awareness Pet Fair today at Doctor's Dog Park in Apopka. We sold plenty of adorable pet photos, like this one, with the proceeds going to the American Cancer Society. Thanks to Embarq for a fantastic event and for the volunteers that handled the on-site printing for me!

Wiggle Waggle Walk Photos

Oh my goodness, how much fun was this year's Wiggle Waggle Walk? All the dogs (and one cat!) are so cute it's hard not to put the camera down and just love on them all! There were over 40 fantastic vendors there with everything from organic pet food to dog fashions to a caricature artist! I'm not sure how the judges picked the winners of the costume contest - I never would have been able to choose just one for each category!

Here's a small sampling of images from the day, to see more visit the gallery.

Jenny, the token cat of the day!

Didn't this guy realize he was in Gator country?

This little cutie was "security" at the judge's table!

Even the humans got into the act!

I think that using Jedi mind tricks on the judges gives an unfair advantage in the costume contest! Haha!

The lovely Sassy of Sassy's Pet Paradise.

Busted playing paw-parazzi!

And the actual walk which was kicked off by WFTV Channel 9 / TV 27 meteorologist Tom Terry

Too cute for words!

Yup, his name was Oscar! I love it!

I'm not sure how much money was raised in total - I know one group raised nearly $47,000! - but kudos to all who came out and raised money for such a worthwhile cause!

New product alert!

I wanted to let you know about two great new product offerings that I absolutely adore - signature guest books and statuettes.

Signature guest books are a popular new way to showcase images from your engagement photo session! A custom 6x6 album is designed using your favorite images with lots of open space for your wedding guests to sign!

and, for the pet lovers, Statuettes!

These cut outs are mounted on a thick piece of foam board, ensuring they stand up proudly! Each comes with its own base. Great for pets and kids!

Available in 5x7 or 8x10 (shown)

Both items can be purchased in your gallery and, as always, you can see the full range of products in the boutique!

Home sweet home... for now

Just back from Maui. Long enough to shoot Dannielle & Tim's wedding tomorrow, do laundry and get caught up on some odds and ends before heading off to Big Sur for Kelly & Jon's wedding next weekend.

Maui pictures coming soon along with the details of some of the incredible stuff we did, but in the meantime, I wanted to give a shout out to our awesome Pet Sitter, Christy at Paw Prints. She did a fantastic job with our fussy little furballs, so if you're looking for someone to watch your animals while you're on the road, shoot her an email and tell her I sent you!

Adrienne, Jonah, & Buckley

I had a blast photographing Adrienne, Jonah, and (of course) Buckley in downtown Winter Park!

Buckley was such a cutie - he carried his bear with him everywhere!

Thanks you guys for a fun session! Give Buckley a rub for me!

It's a dog's life: Mason

It's been so long since I've done a pet portrait session, I'd forgotten just how much I enjoy them! I loved crawling around on the ground while photographing Mason at her owner Laura's home. Isn't she a cutie?
